LaTausha Williamson was born in Waco, Texas, into a family shaped by faith, strength,
and quiet endurance. Raised by her mother and grandparents—both pastors who ran a
small grocery store—she learned early how love can carry both weight and wonder. Her
path has not been gentle: caring for siblings with special needs, confronting loss,
addiction, incarceration, and the long, slow return to peace.
LaTausha now lives in Atlanta, where she continues to write, teach, and speak from the
place her story led her to: a life rooted in faith, guided by spirit, and unafraid of truth.
She wrote, “They played with the wrong one” to bear witness to what endurance can
build. Her words come from a past that tested every corner of her spirit, shaping a voice
that no longer trembles at truth.
